- Moriah Bacus & Kiran Thind,
Co-Producers of Make It
Kiran Thind
Kiran Thind founded Cherry Bomb Vintage in 2006. Upon graduation from Ryerson University’s School of Interior Design, she worked in residential design and always had a keen interest in furniture. After restoring a few vintage pieces for her home, she enrolled in Mohawk College ’s Upholstery program.
She creates unique furniture that combines a love of vintage glamour with bold colours and patterns inspired by sources like street art, fashion and music to complement or contrast the original piece. Kiran does custom client upholstery work, produces upcycled home decor items and collects and sells vintage home furnishings.
In May 2012, Kiran will begin managing "Then Again Vintage" at 3109 Dundas Street in Toronto's trendy and thriving Junction neighbourhood. The location is owned by Conn Burke of Recycled Displays. Recycled Displays is a long-time fixture in the Greater Toronto retail industry.
